Yellow-breasted Chat
Yellow-breasted Chats are an elusive and unique bird in the US and Canada, but they're worth keeping an eye — and even more so, an ear — out for this spring! The Yellow-breasted Chat is quite the oddity: It is the only member of the monotypic family Icteriidae, and one of the reasons why it was moved out of Parulidae (warblers) is that its vocalizations are so different. Learn more about the Yellow-breasted Chat's unique song with Terra.
