It's absolute madness here as we get our production ready to go. We have much of the inventory we need in stock, and the rest is on the way. We have an assembly line almost completed. We have 125 of the actual enclosures, with more on the way soon. We have the first 100 pcb boards arriving on Friday. And we have software (including bird ID) getting finalized for loading into the Terra processors.
We're also doing a lot with the website and app, which will be in excellent shape very soon.
Some of the improvements to Terra include: a revised wind shield system, a better seating power plug, better heat resistance, improved seals, a stronger external connector, and antenna connectors included for all Terras. That means if you ordered an external antenna, there won't be any installation fee (we'll be refunding those of you have pre-paid for that).
So the question everyone is asking. - when?! We finally have a concrete answer! We'll be starting our shipping in about 2 weeks, and we will have shipped all 2000 pre-ordered units out by end of October. The first 100 will go to specific environments, testers, reviewers and curated sites, and then we'll be shipping the rest by the date they were ordered.
A little longer and we are at the finish line - or really I should say the starting line. This is the official beginning of something that we think is going to be very big! Thank you for being a part of that.
